ESTDomains responded to ICANN

Seems that ESTDomains responded to ICANN and are trying to find a way to stop the de-accreditation.

Here’s a link to the correspondence:

Meanwhile, it seems that especially some of the russian scammers are pretty scared of the situation. There’s been some talk of transferring the “valuable” domains to Directi (which by the way has been trying to wash its hands since SecurityFix published the article that really made the shit hit the fan.) and leaving the rest to ESTDomains. That way whoever would take over the domains from ESTDomains would have a steaming pile of “it” at its hands.

In some of the comments I’ve seen people are afraid if GoDaddy takes over, apparently because GoDaddy actually handles abuse :)

Whatever the outcome of this event is the times are interesting to both sides of the game.
