The network worm known as Downadup or Conficker or Kido has been on the lips of the entire information security community for some while now and it has been keeping people busy, including myself. Microsoft published today $250000 bounty on tips/leads leading to arrest and conviction on the person(s) behind the worm.

Downadup is by far the furthest spreaded worm in a long long time. It utilizes a big bunch of new tricks as well as using older but still really efficient tricks to spread. I really hope the bounty will help in getting the person(s) responsible in the slammer.
